Are you thinking about moving to Northwest Arkansas, but you're not exactly sure where you should live. Is being centrally located important to you? If so, Springdale may be a good place for you to consider. On this episode of Naturally NWA, we're going to talk about why Springdale should be on your list of places to live.

So, let's start out by talking about where Springdale is located within Northwest Arkansas. I already mentioned to you that it's a centrally located area. Fayetteville is just South at borders Fayetteville, and it's just about a 20 minute drive to the Bentonville and Rogers area, if that's where you're working. Tyson foods is one of the largest employers in Northwest Arkansas, and it is headquartered here in Springdale. So if you're working for Tyson, Springdale is a great place to live, but you may also consider Fayetteville or LOL.

So now that you know where Springdale is located, let's talk about schools for a second. So if you've got little ones, schools are going to be important to you. Springdale school district actually has 28 different schools. 18 of those are elementary schools, eight of them are middle schools and there are two high schools in Springdale. If you have questions about the quality of the schools or the ratings, there are several online sources that you can check out to get that information. So now that I've given you some information about where it's located and the school districts and stuff like that, let's talk about what it's like to live in Springdale.

Springdale is a melting pot of Northwest Arkansas. There are a lot of different types of people that live in Springdale and it's really a blue collar town. A lot of the, a lot of the workers that work in the processing plants and factories around Northwest Arkansas live in Springdale because you get a little bit more for your money there. The downtown area of Springdale has recently been revitalized and your start and we're starting to see a lot more new bars and restaurants come in, uh, open in the downtown area. But the also another thing about Springdale is the Southern tip of Beaver Lake touches down in the Springdale. So if you're into fishing, camping and hiking, Springdale is a great place for you to check out because of all the outdoors, the activities you can do there as well. So now that you know more about how it feels to live in Springdale and where it's located and all of that, let's talk about what, what kind of house you can get for your money in Springdale.

As I mentioned, it's a blue collar town. You get a little bit more house for your money. The average three bed, two bath, 1,650 square foot house in Springdale. It's going to cost you around $195,000, which is quite a bit less than the surrounding towns.
